first had the Gumbo a couple of months
ago, and have bought it about 10 times
since. I'm not sure you folks understand
how successful this product could be if
it was marketed better. You should change
advertising agencies, and go with one
that will get your product the exposure
it deserves. The gumbo is better than
gumbo I've had at fine restaurants - and
your ads should promote this. You should
have commercials where consumers take
a blind taste test with your gumbo and
a restaurant's gumbo - like the old Pepsi

husband is a true southern man from Mississippi
of which he loves his gumbo. I myself
proclaim my favorite food also gumbo.
Last week I tried your gumbo and since
have purchased 11 bowls, you have a life
long customer. I have not yet try the
red beans and rice, but it is in my freezer.

a former flower child in San Francisco,
I have been eating "soul food"
nearly all my life. The frozen beans and
rice I just had were the best ever! (Of
course, I would probably eat a phone book
if you called it food and had Smokey's
picture on it). My daughter has grown
up with Smokey's greatest hits. This food
for the spirit is the best thing he's
done since then, although I liked the
Dr. Pepper commercials and his occasional
cameos in movies too! You go,

I was trying to hear what IT saying, all
I could make out was located in the frozen
food so I tried the gumbo it was great.

HOOK" I make gumbo myself but this
is just as smooth as you my brother. You
got to come to Portland Oregon and be
a guest of our city, we have the annual
Rose Festival each June and it would be
nice for you to give a concert and be
Grand Marshall of our Grand Floral Parade.

must admit that I was a little skeptical
about your food endeavor. However, I was
in the grocery store that other day and
your song "Being With You" was
playing on the intercom. In the middle
of your song, your speaking voice interrupted
the tune and it mentioned for us to try
your product. Well, since I was already
in the frozen food section, I decided
to try your beans and rice. I must admit,
I was pleasantly surprised that your product
was that good. In fact, I have invited
a co-worker of mine, who is also one of
your biggest fans, to come over to my
house for lunch, and we're going to have
your red beans and rice. So, Smokey, I

taste like -well !! FROZEN ..This is the
best GUMBO - better than some restaurant
( hands down )..The chicken sausage is

Gumbo and it was fantastic. Bought it
from Safeway in Yakima, WA. As good as
homemade. Liked the texture of the okra.
Keep up the good work. I will be looking
for your other products. Eating your gumbo

tried your frozen microwave seafood
gumbo. As someone who grew up on the
Gulf Coast, that's a darn good bowl
of gumbo to come out of the microwave.

am both health-concious and allergic
to soy and wheat products. Plus I'm
a very busy graduate student. The Red
Beans and Rice frozen dinner sticks
to my ribs and tastes great. I think
the fact that there are few additives
is great. Is the product additive-free
enough to advertise it as "All
Natural"? I think it would attract
an additional health-concious audience.

What other products does your company
manufacture. Your soul in the bowl products

you can put them in the microwave. The

I am now eating your gumbo everyday.
I am a studio singer and one day on
a break from the gig, I went to Pavilions
in Hollywood to get food for lunch.
I happened upon the Gumbo and that was
it. EVERYDAY I tell you. I am on my
third ordered case from Pavilions as
well as buying all they have in Studio
City, Sherman Oaks etc. Please, please
don't go out of business. It's all I
want to eat now . I am afraid I will
starve if you go down!
My compliments to your company and of
