Paella Flavor-Ready Rice was created by infusing the most commonly used traditional paella rice, Calasparra Rice, with the classic seasoning associated with authentic paella. The multi-layered paella seasoning is hand blended in small batches at Woodland Foods from premium ingredients including pure saffron (an essential paella spice that has unique flavor and turns the rice a wonderful golden color), garlic, onion, aleppo pepper, paprika, turmeric and other select herbs and spices. Calasparra Rice is the most commonly used paella rice, because of its delicate growing conditions and its superior absorption of liquid, thus flavor (up to 3 times its volume in liquid). Paella Flavor-Ready Rice is naturally flavored and is an immense timesaver to make authentic paella.
