When hand-making our purees, we use cold pressure (instead of traditional nutrient-depleting high heat pasteurization) to lock in all the important stuff- vitamins, minerals and yumminess. Because we use the whole fruit and vegetable and never boil the food or cook it in the packaging, ounce for ounce you are getting quite the boost of nutrition and flavor.
